Polycon Engineering can supply a range of polyethylene pipe (PE) and related products for rural, irrigation and industrial applications from PN4 through to PN25.
Polyethelene pipe use has grown greatly, due to its versatility and the advantages it offers over iron, steel and cement systems. The current polyethylene pipe grade has higher strength and toughness than earlier generation materials and is is now widely used in gas, water supply, sewer, mining, irrigation and general industrial applications.
Polyethylene pipe can be supplied in straight lengths or in coils, which reduce the need for joints and fittings. Polyethelene (PE) pipes can be jointed using butt and electrofusion techniques or for smaller sizes, with mechanical fittings.
Our products comply with all relevant Australian statutory and regulatory requirements.
Applications for PE pipes include:
- Water supplies
- Gas transfer
